EVERYCHILD
www.everychild.org.uk

Another charity that Elaine supports is EveryChild. It is a humanitarian, non-denominational registered charity which works with locally-owned, long term projects throughout the developing world and Eastern Europe to help bring healthcare, education and eventual self-sufficiency to children and communities in need. Support is given on the basis of poverty alone, regardless of race, sex or religion. An EveryChild sponsors a child in one of these countries in an EveryChild project.

Elaine Paige has been a child sponsor since 1995 through this really excellent charity. She sponsors two children - a girl in Romania and a boy in Peru. She is becoming more involved in their work as an Ambassador and is hoping to take a trip to Peru in Spring 2003 to visit Everychild's projects there.

EveryChild is an international development organisation formed by the merger of The European Children's Trust and The Christian Children's Fund Great Britain. EveryChild works in 18 different countries worldwide and helps almost 250,000 people through 150 projects. EveryChild is committed to working with children, families and communities to eradicate poverty and social injustice by ensuring the right to health, education, and a family environment.

EveryChild works with local communities to identify their needs and to implement appropriate and sustainable solutions.
