Hmm - will have to think about this one as it's not necessarily my favourites. Will get back to you although I think Rainbow High will probably be one of them for me  Smiley

Definitely "Rainbow High" (or maybe "Buenos Aires") because it is acknowledged as one of the most difficult songs in the whole musical theatre repertoire.

My others would be/might be (I'll change my mind!):

"If You Love Me" (because Elaine pays a great tribute to Piaf while also making the song firmly her own; a remarkable achievement.  And it is one of the very best examples of that EP "belt").

"Hello, Young Lovers" (not because I'm especially mad on the song but I do think this Rodgers and Hammerstein classic allowed Elaine to show off the lighter, more lyrical side to her range).

"The Heart Is Slow To Learn" (because it shows yet another side of EP's incredible range and talent - and I understand is a b****** of a song to sing).

I'll think but not sure how long it will take. But Molokov  Smiley has a very good list.

Don't be afraid to let them show. Your true colors are as beautiful as a rainbow my Babymine.

Rainbow High - not everyone has that kind of range

As If We Never Said Goodbye - Yes I'm biased, it's my favorite EP song, but goes from quivery and unsure in the beginning to powerful and dynamic at the end.

Can't think of only one more. Every song I've ever heard her sing shows how versatile she is. Anyone who can can go from Song of a Summer Night to He's an Animal to Cry Me A River and do them all so well has to be good.

I'm thinking...doesn't have to be favorites or even songs you like just to show her remarkable versatility.

I agree with Deb with As We Never Said Goodbye. I think the way she "acts" it makes it become so special.

There's a few for me:~

Bohemian Rhapsody............ I love the light and shade in her voice in this

If you love me......... just for the belt

If you don't want my love........... the lighter soprano voice  and the belt at the end

Nobody's side................  I just love this - no reason!

Something in Red............Elaine does country..........

Well Almost.......Elaine the pop diva

I could go on....... but would be here all night

Ok, keeping Rainbow High and think the others will be

Mad About the Boy - the live version where she changes characters though rather than the recorded one

Cry Me A River - when Elaine sings this live it's amazing; the amount of emotion in one song is incredible

Hello Young Lovers - the other side of musical thatre with a lighter touch

I may end up cheating and replying to this a few times - 3 or 4 in each reply would still be within the rules right?!  Wink
