I know how you must feel Clair, but she's got to grap the US popularity while she can. Regretfully, she's not getting any younger.

The American public is finally waking up to the treasure of talent Elaine is. We are so grateful, but I understand how you will miss having more EP performances in the UK. Remember she always happily returns to her home. She is a true Brit. She said she really really missed being in England for the Queen's Anniversary extravaganza. However, we do hope that at least a tiny tiny part of her heart remains on Broadway and in LA.

Thanks happyamerican - just have to keep doing the lottery and hoping. Would love to get out to the US, not only to see EP but to spend some time with some of the lovely people on here but flights, hotels etc don't come for free sadly Sad

As long as you guys appreciate her and she's happy herself that's all I ask Wink

Clair - I hear your pain. I haven't been able to see EP live here in the USA for the same reasons you have. I hope you can come across the pond someday. I suspect that EP will get more and more engagements here. I agree that she needs to strike while the iron is hot as far as EP being better known at this time.

Actually I guess that if I'm honest even if I never see EP again all the wonderful memories and times I have spent with that great lady are precious and will keep me going. Every time I see EP it's special, never gets mundane or been there done that as she is one special lady who knows how to make each and every fan feel important for those few minutes
