I've seen a CD called Sparrow with Elaine Paige on it. I was just wondering if anybody  knew anything about this as I can't see it mentioned on EPs bio.  The CD goes back to 1972 so it is pre Evita.  I am sure some of you will have the CD - is it worth buying?

Thanks.

It's, urm...different. It's better than the 'Colours of Love' group she was in though!!! They're not even mentioned on her disography on this site, which says it all I think!! Wink

Thanks, Seb.  Now played some tracks on YouTube - interesting!  Checked out EPs singles on here too and not heard of some of the earlier ones or of the Barriers cast recording.  I guess EP can't fit everything in her bio and some like A Night On The Town and Confessions Of A Plumber's Mate I'm sure she'd rather forget.  It's interesting to fill in the gaps in my knowledge - our EP has done a lot hasn't she?

I think I read somewhere ages ago that EP deliberately doesn't mention Sparrow in her bio!! Actually ignore that - I think it was 'The Barrier' Undecided

When I was a novice EP collector, I had the single of 'We're Only Flesh and Blood' from the Barrier, and I asked Elaine about it when I met her at Dress Circle -she had absolutely no idea what I was talking about!!
