Did anyone else hear that Dame Joan Sutherland passed away last Sunday? Cry

Weird because I just bought "Flower Duet" for my iPod this past Tuesday. I have it on CD somewhere but love it so much and wanted the immediate gratification.

RIP. Prayers to her family and friends.

But my taste in music is very eclectic, I like almost all music, it varies with my mood and the occasion. Everything from musicals to Britney Spears to RnB to Beatles to eurodance.....

The only style of music that I can't stand is heavy metal and punk rock. That's just screaming and awful noise to my ears.... Shocked

If I have no interest in singing it, it doesn't get listened to much.

C'mon C. Give some of the old stuff a try! I bet you'd like Patsy Cline. Maybe not all of her songs but at least a few like "She's Got You", "Crazy", and "The Wayward Wind". Give it a go on youtube and see if you agree.

I like many types of music. Rock, pop, classical, some country, jazz, blues, yada yada yada. Generally not rap or gospel but I will never discount an entire classification completely.

I tend to listen to the same thing over and over again for days or weeks. Then switch to something else. Wink

I like anything I can sing and enjoy singing since I adore singing.
