Isolation chambers sounds like the White Coats got'em and locked them up in there. Are the walls padded too?

Just met Mike Cheryl and Jay from Bucks Fizz - all very friendly and lovely. Jay seemed a bit more quiet but was so sweet it was lovely to meet them.
Hope to meet Lyn Paul after Blood Brothers if Mandy doesn't mind waiting?!

CLAIR OR MANDY!!!

If you could get me a copy of the souvenier brochure from Blood Brothers, and post it to me please?

I'll gladly cover all costs, and am desperately seeking this now.

I forgot my wallet on show night, and being Press, I only got a free programme when I wanted the brochure!! If one of you could get it me, that'd be fantastic Smiley Smiley

Seb xxx

PS: I can't stop listening to the 4 BB albums I have. Definately in the top 5 fave musicals now. Still can't believe I cried at Easy Terms and Light Romance though!!  Roll Eyes

The power of the EP forum means that Seb now has his brochure to enjoy  Smiley
Recxently met Honor Blackman, very nice but much smaller than I'd expected!

I can't say that I have met very many well known people I'm afraid.  I met Shirley Bassey some years ago at a concert in Cardiff.  Also in Cardiff I met the well known actress Margaret Rutherford, when I literally ran into her, very many years ago.  That was quite a funny encounter because Cardiff used to be my home town and she seemed so familiar to me I thought she was someone from home that I knew.  Anyway she was very charming and gracious at my confusion.  Then 12 months ago I met Katie Melua when she agreed to sign some prizes for me for an annual project I run to raise money for Save the Children.

I am sorry I've never met Elaine Paige- maybe one day I may bow down before her...I met Mireille Mathieu, she is a very charming, friendly and kind person and she is very natural. We've talked about an hour (!) at the hotel she stayed in and she invited me to visit another concert of her and gave me the ticket..but this is long time ago, guess it was in 1986...I met Agnetha Fältskog on a walk with the dog when I studied in Stockholm and we talked a little...funny: I didn' t mention I knew her and it seemed she enjoyed meeting someone who treated her normal and not as a star. Never forget my heart bumping Smiley No pictures, no autographs- but a very personal meeting. After she had gone I sat stunned nearly twenty minutes in the forrest and then run to a telephone house to call someone to report that event!
Because I play tennis I met Steffi Graf during a sports journalist tournament- well, she does not sing but she is a great tennis player and we are the same age and talked like normal people.
And those experiences showed me that it is just a question of behavior and politeness to talk to popular people as normal as to the neighbours Wink

Hi Liza.

Hopefully you will get to meet Elaine Paige one day?? When you do you will find that she is the most charming, wonderful Lady who has time for her fans and is always very gracious about signing autographs and having photographs taken. EP makes you feel very special and has a knack of putting you at ease, shes a real treasure.

Hopefully we will get to meet you to at the next EP concert along with all the other forum members too. Enjoy the madness on here.

I’m sure we will meet! As soon as she’s on stage in UK next time I buy the ticket! But if I would really meet her I am sure my knees will get weak… I adore her since the early 80es…never had a hope of meeting her- even just for a moment. I do believe in every word you write: if even her voice makes me feel very special how stunning must it be to meet her!

Don't worry Liza, you'll be among friends and Elaine truly is the nicest lady. When you do meet her you'll wonder why you were ever nervous - I was terrified the first time I met her and within seconds she had put me so much at ease I'd forgotten I was ever nervous. As Mandy said Elaine really makes you feel special and that you're important to her and you go away feeling like you're on top of the world  Smiley

Believe it or not the first thing EP said to me was "Hello, can you show me the way to the toilet?!" As an ice-breaker it wasn't bad! She was singing where I was working, the whole story is somewhere on the forum - can anyone remember where?!
