Reba McEntire - she is going to be her in Nashville in early
September but tickets are $106.00 each. Would love to go but need to save some cash for Atlantic City. I have seen Reba many time though so it is more that worth the sacrifice to see
EP for the first time. Grin

I agree North took real dedication and will power to get through. I too have seen all her movies and her TV show
soooo funny. I've seen her many times in concert even slept
outside in a blizzard to get good seats like to have froze to death. I really love her music. Broadway showed that she had much more range to her voice than we get to see on her CD's.

My other favorite female singer is Bette Midler. She is little like Elaine but sings like a bird. I've seen her twice..and she actually sounds better in person than on recordings. Some people have that quality. I would have loved to have EP have Bette sing with her on her new album.

And Eva Cassidy is a good one too Birdie. She was from near here (Bowie, MD) and my boss told me about her. It is a shame how she died so young. Quite talented.

LOVE Kerry Ellis - I do think she is the next Elaine - no-one else comes near for me. Definitely agree she was a 1000 times better than Idina Menzel at the Chess concerts - Idina always sounds like she has just inhaled helium to me - she was SHOCKING in Chess

Julia Murney - who I love and adore and I think is criminally underrated

Caroline O'Connor, who I have just seen in London and was fantastic
